I was saying it tonight before the both of you.

It might not happen, but it sure is plausible.

What keeps Texas from making the 10/10 mill offer now? Anyone thinks that Saban doesn't listen or just turns it down outright?

Anyone really think that Saban turns down an extra 3 million a year just to stay at Alabama? Just because of last night? No matter what?

Honestly you may want to keep an eye on your coach at this point. JMO

This board is all about people saying "Hey, I said that first!", "SEE GUYS?! I called that a few days ago.", "Thief. That was my idea. You didn't think of that.".

E-cred and reputation is serious business here.

Miles contacted Texas. Sounds legit. WTH?

I believe he is also represented by Jimmy Sexton.

Sexton is going to make so much money off of this job and he may not even represent the coach that inevitably gets hired..

There is no source from the tsip camp that is trustworthy. Their 'word' means nothing.

I think the BCSCG is basically going to be an open audition for the UT job. One of those two coaches will end up at UT.

If you still think that Saban is going to UT you are either stirring or a flat out idiot.

It is more likely that Gus and Les are hired than Saban at this point, imho. Les as a last resort.

If Urban gets the job, the other coaches can forget about poaching any players from the Texas penal system.

This is sorta like when Lloyd Carr hung on and didn't want Les Miles to replace him. Once Miles was clearly not going to Michigan, Carr stepped aside and stopped being a roadblock.

Lloyd Carr announced he was retiring on November 20th 2007

Les Miles said he wasn't replacing Carr on December 2md 2007

Try again.

Why?

The same reasons that made you insistent that Saban would stay applies to those two.
