Like 9458 said you will be made to believe Jimbo walked away and that it's gonna be someone else (Herman) or (O). If you think it's O then why is he not hired yet? If it Herman how come he hasn't signed yet???? Guess what, Jimbo's season ends today. Makes sense. Hopefully it happens fast so this can be over. If your team O then you better start warming up to the idea of Lane Kiffin working @LSU.

I would to believe that but here's my thing...If the intentional misdirection is indeed true then why would LSU9458 come on here and tell the truth? All I know is that I hope he's right because Lord help LSU football if O is named HC.

Lane Kiffin isn't coming to LSU. The ONLY reasons anyone will give you as to why that might happen is O and Lane are buddies + Saban is mean.
So if we are stuck with Bleauxgeron you'd better warm up to the idea that you have NO clue who our OC would be AND that there is a real possibility Aranda bolts as well.

He already said that once Jimbo was officially announced to LSU football that he would come clean about the deal.

Trying to do his small part in calming at least a portion of the fanbase down. Not to mention nothing on here truly makes "mainstream" waves in the national media, certainly not Fairly vague assertions and opinions sometimes wrapped within a riddle

Because a lot of people are too stupid, cynical, and caught up in their own opinions to believe him. So he can get away with telling the truth without any major fallout.

So why would we want someone who is waiting on an offer from another. I would not. In business if I offfered someone a job of course they have time to think about it but if they tell me, well I am waiting to see if I get an offer from your competitor I will immediately resend the offer. First because his top priority is not working for me, second because he was so stupid as to tell me what he was waiting for.

Call me naive, BUT I find it very hard to believe that Jimbo is not still in the running.
Lsu "supposedly" had extensive talks with Jimbo LAST season only to backtrack firing Miles. Lsu has had 8 weeks to continue those talks. If Jimbo was NOT interested why has Lsu spent so much time and energy on pursuing him?
Jimbo was never going to accept the job during the regular season. ANY coach will deny all rumors prior to the end of the season.
If in fact Jimbo was a smoke screen the whole time then Lsu ran into bad luck with UT imploding the last 2 weeks.
If Jimbo's agent started playing hard ball knowing that Lsu was willing to pay out the arse for Jimbo then Lsu did the right thing by starting negotiations with Herman, who could never demand the type of money as Jimbo.
Sexton once again now has the upper hand because UT is definitely in play for Herman.
So IMO it comes down to Fisher or O, with O being the most likely at this point. I'm not excited about that option but I can see the AD's reasoning for keeping him. His staff and the ability to bring in a proven OC and keeping Aranda is the key to his future success.
ETA: well apparently LSU is naming the coach at noon, so it's Not Jimbo. UT hasn't officially fired Strong yet so it looks like O is the next coach.
