How can someone leave a team in mid week to take another job? Much LES, how can Miles allow him to interview the wwek of a game? He could not wait til next Sunday. I say relieve him of his duties now. And if Miles is letting him go interview, I think the handwriting is on the wall that LES is next. Very unprofessional of both. No wonder we were ready for our biggest game of the year. to both of them if this is true.

I hope both of them NEVER so much as smells a National Championship the rest of their coaching careers (assuming Miles bolts for Michigan).

I understand your frustration but this is the way things work in the college football world. Coaching vacancies do not stay that way for long. Pelini has a chance to be the HC of one of the best programs in the country. He has to do it now or it might not be there next week.

Besides, we're out of it now. We blew it. We got TWO chances (most teams have but one) and we blew them both. Had we won Friday, it would have been harder for Bo to do this. But not now.

Should the players be consulted or at least have their temperature as to Bo taken?

PErhaps they are not so upset about this.

Be sure to ask your employer permission before interviewing with another employer. Better yet, list your current employer as a reference on the job application.

Let me know how that turns out for you.

Dude bottom line is they both collect acheck and work for LSU. If they want out then resign now and take your chances. Bertman (according to reports) had no idea that Bo was interviewing. What difference is a few days going to make. Look at the NUTT/OLE PISS fiasco...dont tell me that that was done in one day! BERTMAN/LSU need to play hard ball whatever it may cost us. This hurts the players for the game, recruting amd just in case both stay dont you think other schools use this against us in recruiting.

Next time we hire a coach, we need a coach who wants to be here. Not someone using this a fricking stepping stone. LET HIM GO

As much as it sucks les did the right thing. trying hiring top assistants when you have the reputation of trying to impede their advances.

You ever held a job? You would quit your job to go for an interview with another company?

Dude, get real.

Well that would be intriguing. I guess there is talent out there that wishes to come to LSU and never advance to a Head Coaching job. I suspect that limits the pool of qualified people we can interview however.

Well LSU and Louisiana pride is at stake. Lets go see who is availbale at Nicholls St

Not saying Bo does not have the right to interview, but if LSU gets handed its head thoe weekend and the defense is the problem, what are you gonna say? Why can't he wait til next Sunday? Because it screws NEbraska or BO? I guess your current employer is just there to help you get a beter job. NO WONDER ARKY KICKD OUR arse!

What kind of arguement is that. How long do you think the coordinators have been at Virgina Tech (currently ranked ahead of us) Stop the revolving door, there is no consistency in our program. In turmoil for years, how can you win a national championship.

He can't quit crying long enough to pull his head out of his arse and think logically.

This is also a very good point. This is the business of college football. shite happens. The timing is unfortunate, but oh well. Nobody is against LSU. The football gods are not frowning upon LSU, though maybe they should as we have a lot of entitled, self-righteous, self-loathing, cry-baby, love to play the victim fans.

Yep, maybe we should be more stable like VT.

Oh wait, how many championships they have?

I have had the same job for 19 years and guess what if I decided to leave, my next empoyer would want references from my current employer. You tell me who leaves a job for another job without someone asking why are you leaving? More Money? ETC? Bottom line is 3-4 days will not make a big deal if someone wants you. If you want to argue that then accept the shitty job of coaching that was done for the ARKY game. You feel better,,,,I am more pissed now due to whats unfolding....LSU is being takem advantage and the pussy we have for AD is not doing anything to stop it!

What are the odds that the defense performs well this week with all this going on?

Then what is your solution. If You do not want BO to interview then we need to offer BO a long tern contract that says he will be here no matter who the head coach is.

I don't get the logic here. All this week people are saying "our new head Coach" needs to fire BO next year. Yet on the other hand we say BO is showing no loyalty to LSU by interviewing for a new job. Something is not computing.

Basically BO show Loyalty to LSU and your players but we are firing you next year. Perhaps after this said and done you can a job a Stephen F Austin. So do the right thing BO!!
