Pelini is Top Tier 1 Class A+ DC in the country..

The question : will this skill set translate into a great HC? dunno yet...ask in 5 years

so that one play changed you perspective of him from sucking his balls earlier when we were winning to wanting to throw him to the wolves

I'm not taking about him as a HC

I'd have loved to see him stay as DC at LSU for a loong time

When we hired him Neb fans came to rant to tell us he was not a big game coach. They were right! I wish them well.

he's been good the past two years, but his D has really dropped the ball this year. and no, injuries are not a valid excuse for giving up over 1,000 yards to ole miss and arkansas

it's not his fault that injuries occurred, but there are talented backups. one of the huge problems his D has had is tackling, they don't tackle properly which is basic coaching. watch auburn's D, with arguably way less talent they shut DMAC down. and as far as pelini being the greatest DC at LSU, Saban >>>> Pelini and Muschamp's performance at auburn has proven that he is just as good/possibly better also

i like Pelini..

Saban in 03' spoiled us, and we expect that every year.

People must not watch too many other college games because their arent many teams with defenses that compare to our game.

Some people have ZERO perspective.

idk he is a good cord. but it looks like he comp. lost focus the last 2 games. his d played like shite. well the whole 2nd half of the year he has looked like shite and went back to no pressure like his first game here.

We never were able to get much pressure on the quarterback with the front four, our corners struggled with technique, linebackers didn't get out in coverage, we rarely made adjustments, etc. We gave up HUGE yardage against marginal opponents. Muschamp holds arkansas to something like 46 yards and 7 points, while Pelini's crew is lit up for 500?

I wish him well...... We can do better
