He didn't say that, he said he's been with him every day and that he didn't leave Baton Rouge. All skirting the question, but all truthful answers.

Yep, he went straight around the real question and must have loved it when the stupid reporter said that Bo went to Nebraska. It allowed Miles to get out of it without lying.

I've been hearing alot as well to Bo getting the job at NU as well. Our plan was in Baton Rouge for about 2 hours or so. So in reality it's true what miles said about Bo not leaving because we did the interview with Bo in Baton Rouge not Atlanta. I believe that is correct because we've had Husker fans tracking this plane all day.

Osborne, Perlman return to Lincoln

NO COACH ON BOARD.

Unless he's the pilot.

Sorry I didn't see this earlier, I can't find a very efficient way to utilize this board and reply without pretty much wading through page after page.

I hope it's officially announced to the team tomorrow (today I guess Tues.) in Lincoln, then he's introduced on Wednesday so he can go recruiting.

It sounds like your defense will do better this weekend without him anyway if you believe 97% of what you read on LSU boards.

I will be giving out "Bo Knows" type Cornhusker gear for Christmas in that event!!

Wish we didn't have a #100-something total defense this year and instead had your #3 defense (in the SEC no less), but then again we'd still have Bill Callahan and Kevin Cosgrove if we had won a couple more and not been blown out like cheap whores!

Really do love Bayou Bengal Tiger FB (have since '71 Orange Bowl Classic), was excited that Bo was your guy for awhile and won 10-games 3 years on I believe.

Won't apologize though for having him back (he should have been our HC 4 years ago) if he indeed is back.

He'll be appreciated greatly in Cornhusker Nation.

LATE NEWS: REPORTED ON LIFE IN THE RED (HUSKEREXTRA.COM) BOARDS!

Pelini Interviews For Nebraska Job; Players Meeting Called For Tuesday

LINCOLN, Neb. (KPTM) - Husker players are expected to learn Tuesday afternoon who will lead their team next year.

A player's meeting has been called for 4 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. Steve Ryan with bigredreport.com says the meeting has been called to announce a new coach, but not to introduce one.

Bigredreport.com also tells FOX 42 that coach is most likely Bo Pelini, who Tom Osborne interviewed Sunday. Pelini was defensive coordinator at Nebraska in 2003.

I would expect to have BO at the game this weekend even if he is hired at Nebraska

I honestly hope that's how it goes: Bo is announced tomorrow and meets his new Nebraska team after you guys SMEAR the Vols all over and grind them down into the drainage system.

It would be nice to have Bo recruiting (if you guys don't want him and the team stops playing for him) for us RIGHT NOW though.

I am not sure how that work. I fully expect BO to be coaching this weekend. In fact I think its a must and I am willing to bet the players would want it too.

After that I am not sure how it would work

I am not privy to the team dynamics but from what I can tell I dont think the "team" would quit playing for him at all

I can't imagine one of Bo's players quitting on him. I'm sure maybe quit on themselves/get tired/get hurt but at Nebraska guys ran past empty and through brick walls for him.

That means something to us.

Generally that's how it works but how do you mutiny a guy's last game coaching you if you genuinely play hard for him?

As far as 'if it can be done'; Anything can be done and often times is done.

Well the players are pretty devoted to him. I have no problems with BO and I think removing him from the mix could be problematic
