If one coach decides it then the school isn't what would bring him here. I really hope we get him. He's a stud. But we have Brian Kelly now. Always has a legit line. There will be many more to come if he decides lsu isn't best for him.

Also he's stayed committed through all this. I think he's coming!

I want DOGS. Guys who are here to play football and inflict pain, not be the official athlete of Roul’s Deli (juicy juicy just like the coochie)

Matt Luke was a fall guy for Ole Miss. He took the job when no one else would to keep the seat warm during probation. He is a great guy and fell on the sword for OM.

He is not a great HC by any means

Kardell Stewart would certainly be considered a blue chip.

Kardell Stewart???? Kardell Thomas maybe. I don't think "Slash" was big enough to play the OL, did play several other positions, including QB and WR.

Maybe he should decommit and go wherever Davis lands. Maybe he should give his opinion on the style of offense Kelly should run.

Kid is 17. He posted something and realized it was a mistake so he deleted . No big deal.

Maybe he is still committed to LSU and will remain so but simply likes coach Davis?

Personally I think Brad Davis is an amazing coach and recruiter. I wanted him along with Faulk and Raymond to be kept on staff.

Now its Brian Kelly's staff so if he decides against keeping Brad Davis then so be it.

frick that. No recruit and no recruiting class should dictate your staff. Bring the best, and develop the best and it’ll sort itself out either way

It always cracks me up when every season some struggling program will harp on this seasons “vital recruiting class” because the last 10 classes before and the next 10 classes after will also be a “vital recruiting class”. It’s just how the machine works, there’s always a newer and bigger fish in the sea

We kept Miles around for a long time because he just kept bringing in these insane classes we didn’t want to lose out on and it hurt our program more in the long term than missing out on 1 class would’ve

ETA and to be clear, if Kelly wants to keep Davis I’m happy. But I’m not going to sit here and want manor staff decisions to be made off one recruit

Also keep in mind how little “blue chip OL recruit” can mean. Kardell Thomas was supposed to be Trent Williams for us. shite is hard to translate to the next level sometimes and we need to stop putting our dreams and expectations on these 17 year olds every year

Thought he did admirable considering they were on probation.

Exactly. He was the sacrificial lamb to get OM through dark times.
