Joe Brady would be a good hire for OU

As a defensive coordinator? I am assuming you forgot the problem is on the defense not the offense for OU.

Yeah, a 30-year-old who has been an OC for one year would be perfect to take over a top 10 football program.

WOW

Oh yeah because Venables loves how he was treated by OU and its fans before he left.

Why you're doing that? Don't you want Clemson to go down in smoke? Lets get him out of Clemson!

Its quite amusing watching the LSU faithful fall over themselves trying to hide Brady's name from all of the Coaching vacancies when OL coaches are being hired as headers these days

"Joe Brady will definitely be a candidate." He has exactly one year of college coaching experience, has never been a coordinator or even a position coach, let alone a head coach. He is a passing game assistant. With the Saints, he was an assistant to an assistant. In time, yes. Nowhere near ready now & he knows it.

Wow! That is great news for Brady! He can now get a lot more money by becoming a offense guru for a struggling team!

Oh yeah we’re so scared and hopeful jimmy sexton and the athletic directors that read tigerdroppings will be deceived by our banter

Hahah

Wow, frick you. He’s literally been a full time assistant for one season. One. Sam Pittman has been an assistant for 30 years.

Joe Brady is going to be a head coach, absolutely. He may very well be a phenomenal coach coach too. That doesn’t mean Oklahoma is going to interview him after one season of being a full time assistant.

That doesn’t reek of being scared. It’s just called common sense.

Just for the sake of argument, the responses we've seen to openings.

Coach board. Dan goes to Dallas, Brady to UF
LSU fan: LMAO, Brady isn't ready to coach a top program like UF.

Coach board. MSST fires their HC, Brady to MSST
LSU fans: LMAO, Brady would never go to that dumpster fire

So according to you guys, he's either over qualified or unqualified for every opening.

Fear is real.

I'm not saying he's going anywhere. I'm just saying its fun watching the excuses you guys say why he's not leaving. Like with us, I don't think DM would leave UF but if he does we move on. I trust the AD to find a good replacement. Its UF and LSU, not hard to find coaches willing to coach at these places.

He technically is unqualified to be a head coach at a top 10 program. Florida simply isn’t going to give the keys to a guy who has been a full time assistant for one season. That’s really not being scared, nor is it far fetched.

You’re comparing San Pittman to Brady when experience-wise there’s absolutely zero comparison. At least Sam Pittman is well established in coaching circles to go out and put together a good staff. Brady would at a olace like Florida, but only because Florida has money. And how would they feel being under a 30-year-old that’s called plays for one year?

LSU fans are well aware it’s highly unlikely Joe Brady stays at LSU for more than two seasons, but it’s also not delusional to say it’s a joke Oklahoma and Florida would have Joe Brady as a top choice. And yeah, probably would turn State down because it is in fact a shite job

It’s really not. It’s more embarrassing having to explain why Oklahoma is not going to hire Joe Brady has their head coach at this point in time

They really do get defensive about Joe Brady. It’s hilarious.

Nah, opposing fans hoping and praying a 30-year-old with one year of full time coaching experience gets a top 10 head coaching job for the sake of leaving LSU is way funnier

You mean like you guys praying Saban leaves every year?

I'd hate to see Brian Johnson go, but Im not gonna cuss ppl on a football board for linking his name to an open spot somewhere else. Not that serious to me

Nobody is praying saban leaves

We just beat his arse and won the sec

We good. It’s just people trolling kinda like you’re doing along with every other fan base praying Brady leaves

We know Brady won’t be here forever but you guys acting like he’s looking to leave is amusing

If the day comes and he does leave, I fully trust Orgeron to go find someone else very competent to run a good offense

You guys who are just waiting for him to fail is getting kind of sad lol
