Other than Saban, what other SEC coach would you take over Orgeron?

After Saban there is a huge drop off in coaching in the SEC. Orgeron is about the same level of most if not all the current crop of SEC coaches.

Not many that are better than O to be completely honest. Really depends on the supporting cast as well.

I don't want Saban here. If we hired Satan I would not have a team to root for next year.

Appreciate an actual response to the question. I don't see many coaches in the SEC outside of Bama that can honestly say they have a better coach than we do.

O would have gone 4 for 4 this year if he had control of the team vs Auburn

This is the dumbest post I've read in probably 6 months. Dear God man.

There are some unproven HCs in the SEC that I would want to over O. They may flame out, but I would take the bet on them having better upside.

You're getting interim coach and head coach confused. Orgeron took over with a crazy amount of talent and everything set in place and lost 2 out of 7 games. His PEAK is 8-4. MAYBE the talent we have will get him a 9-3 year.

There are some NCAA concerns about Freeze, but setting that aside he is 100% better than O.

gus malzhan has coached a team to an SEC title and a BCS title game

want to compare that resume to Orgeron's?

Only one really good season at Ole Miss. 39-24 record. No thanks

You realize those concerns started with O's reign at Ole Miss?

Mullen would have been an excellent hire and he would have walked there for the job if necessary. Guy does more with less.

I would take him over O any day of the week and twice on Saturday.
