Orgeron's continued success is actually good for Miles' future prospects

Miles is the one who built this team. It's a plausible argument that they would have turned the corner regardless. Nobody here will accept that, but a search comittee will consider it. He can say he's learned from his mistakes, and lay out a plan to better utilize talent.
He's in a much better situation jobwise than if he had LSU in a shambles.

Actually all it proves is that if Miles had just made a handful of common sense adjustments to the way he ran his program we'd be undefeated and he would still be the coach.

I mean the biggest adjustment we seem to have made is the fact that O has basically gotten out of the way of the coordinators.

There have been offensive records set in the past three games
Les Miles has had more talented teams than this one over his 12 year tenure.. why didn't any of those teams turn the corner like this one has? There's only one common thread for those 12 years of teams.

I don't see how. imo, it clearly proves that he's a damn good recruiter in Louisiana with the money to hire the best available recruiters and with as good of facilities as anywhere in the country.
it also proves that he failed to do anything with all those advantages for the last 4 or 5 years because he was terrible on the offensive side of the ball. what AD would take the chance of hiring the guy with that baggage? maybe a mid major or a historically bad team but not a power school where the AD could get canned quick if miles hires cam or whoever and then destroys their offense like he did at LSU.

I'll give you that he is in better shape than if we were in shambles, but if you don't think every coach in the country isn't laughing at him right now you're delusional.

Actually if it weren't for O, we probably wouldn't have Key, and O was the recruiting coordinator the past few years, soooooo, no not really.
