He is put on the same table as Saban. Its all about the money. He is a traitor to Louisiana! When he was down and out, where did he come back to? We took him in, gave him coaching jobs around the state, and this is the thanks we get. Coach "O", you're a traitor and a liar just like Saban. Get out and stay out!

How is he a traitor? He has never showed any allegences to Louisiana & LSU to begin with.

He is Louisana born and bred. He had an open door with money to come back and give back to Louisiana and represent our heritage. He is a traitor!

I liked the hire for multiple reasons but that doesn't mean he's the only competent DL coach in the country.

Come on. Traitor? The guy loves La. He just has ties to Lane Kiffin and now gets the chance to work under Monte Kiffin, probably one of the most respected coaches in football. From seeing how this played out it was a tough choice for him. But in the end he went were he felt was the best fit for him. How can you fault a guy for doing that?

I would have liked to have had him,but LSU football will move on without having Ed Orgeron on the staff.

I just don't understand this board- you stated your opinion, & get ripped for it! The truth is, I agree with you- I seriously wonder if Coach O had any inclination to really come to LSU. He has had a lot of negativity toward LSU for years, if anyone would do their research. Appears to me he got more money out of the deal, was able to leave LSU with egg on it's face & save his own face in the media with his 'story'. I simply don't buy it- he is scum.
