But what has he done to deserve the HC job at a top 5 program? Failed at Ole Miss and USC didn't even want him. LSU's football program is about to go downhill fast. The only thing we had going for us was that our program was nowhere near rock bottom like Texas or USC. That's about to change for the worst.
It was a good run boys, hopefully we find another Saban to bring us back to the top but it's unlikely.

Sick of hearing this as a knock on Coach O. As if USC is omnipotent.
There are plenty legit criticisms regarding his hiring, but not getting retained by USC is not one of them.
