Grow up Stevo.

Try Vet med, TD Village RV lots and adjacent to the stadium. You know anyone that hangs there - the people with the big $ that go to TAF.

Try the East side of campus where hundreds tailgate.

Try the South area.

Are you even an LSU season ticket holder in any sport? Are you a member of TAF? Ever been to road games? Were you at both BCSNC games? Ever seen LSU BB play in person at the NCAA tournament?

If you are involved in any of those activities, you would never make the ignorant comment that a "significant" majority of LSU fans think so highly of Miles.

So, let me ask you this, do you think that the majority of fans know anything about football that can't be learned via NCAA video games or by parroting ESPN..

I would bet that the majority of LSU fans do not even have an average understanding of the rulebook. shite, they probably have no clue which coaches do what on our team. Yet those same fans call for the head of the coach.. just things that make you go hmmm..

We would be destroyed without Miles at this point. Who do the rantards really think we could bring in?? To me, with Les beating Saban & Meyer this year, he got the monkey off his back. If Mett. can produce like we hope next year, & maybe a new OC, we could be looking for another BCS title next year...

Seems like our AD should be looking for someone just in case.

Indeed - we would be late in the game.

Pitt back open. Possible openings at MI and GA too.

Take a look at the UF and UM hires. UM took some time while UF acted quickly.

We could be a week + behind in getting started with heavy end of recruiting season hitting.

I might make one game a year

.....that doesnt matter. The point is that there are more detractors than you think. I dont think there are two distinct camps either for or against. But we've got about 35% in strong favor, 30% wants him gone, and about 35% that aren't openly opposed to him as our coach, but wouldn't shed a tear if he was gone.

Les does not have the full support of the fan base and probably never will. That's all I'm saying

At this point in Miles's tenure, it would be a bad thing if he were to leave. He's established a very solid recruiting base, including landlocking the state. He's also what, like 63-17 as coach? What we really need is an offensive coordinator worth a shite.

Miles will not be asked. The Michigan camp is totally divided right now. They need a hire that will bring the sides together. A Miles hire would leave them with a divided camp.

An article that came out last fall (A Big House Divided) certainly concluded that there were many who are "Les Miles" people in the Michigan community.

The Michigan fans want to win in a hurry just like any other team. JH is the number 1 option and CLM has to be number 2. They have to go with one of their own but the pickings are slim past JH and CLM. At the end of the day CLM recruiting is why Michigan cant afford to pass on him if JH passes on the job. Any disrespect by Michigan towards CLM would be costly so they have to treat both coaches carefully. Brandon will look bad if both pass on Michigan. CLM is a safe play if you are a Michigan fan.

Sure he will. Quietly and off the record. His answer will be a polite No Thank You.

Consider Miles' returning performers and incoming recruits for 2011. Review Michigan's lineup, prospects and general state of disorder.

Your basic no brainer.
