Can we give this an effing rest?
If DC wants a Safeties Coach he will get one! O won't say no! If not, CRay has proved he can handle the bigger room. Fact is, the numbers say the secondary was better under him than when Bush was brought in.
Obviously, DC will make the choice but can we name some LB Coaches that are available?

Nice. Might be available with the new HC coming in, too.
And...Nielson, Peetz, & Mangus already NFL to LSU.

Jack Del Rio comes to mind as does Mike Nolan to coach LB's.

I find it hilarious that up until 3 years ago, we never had a safeties specific coach, and now we can't live without one.

Since Saban was at LSU in 2000, LSU has only had a safeties coach in 3 of those seasons (2018-2020). In that time, only 2 safeties likely get drafted in Delpit and Stevens (likely 3rd rounder at best).

Corey has two 1st round safeties in Reid and Adams. Yes, he hasn't been great, but that's still pretty damn good.

Safeties coach is not needed.

raymond likes running the secondary room himself. i don't see another S coach coming in. Busch was Aranda's guy anyway.

I have (at least) one child and 2 limbs available to get Del Rio on our sideline! Not gonna happen but what a nice dream.

Again---I lean toward CR but am fine with DC's choice.
The stats say entire secondary was better under CRay than having split duties with Busch!
Do we just not know of any/are there none available Linebackers Coaches?

Reid played 1 year under Raymond and looked like dog shite compared to previously. Pull up the Ole Miss game.

Why is it hilarious that times change and coaching staffs adapt?

Every college playoff team the last two seasons had a safeties coach, including LSU.

The only thing that’s hilarious is your lack of knowledge.
