Okay AU. All jokes aside, Go hire Jim Leonard as your next HC.

Will give you a proven defensive minded head coach and he is already packing up his stuff ready to leave Wisconsin.

He isn't familiar with the SEC! That is what Auburn learned from Bryan Harsin.

Neither was Brian Kelly. Leonard has only to hire good assistant coaches with SEC ties and that are great recruiters.

That Leonhard's alma mater basically laid the red carpet out for him to get the job then said "never mind" should give pause.

Shows Wisconsin has a disloyal AD. Without Leonard there is no W these past few years.

The Wisconsin AD reports to Barry Alvarez. Alvarez is the godfather there. So, Leonhard's gripe is with him. I think Leonhard was going to get job but a better, experienced option became available.

Forget about that. It’s pretty clear he’s kicked off a fast-tracked turnaround from where O left things. That’s what matters. This incoming recruiting class is tracking above any he had at ND, as is should, proving that he can cut it on multiple fronts in this conference.

Good coaches are good coaches. Kelly is a prime example that a very good or better coach who knows how to hire a staff can succeed in the SEC. I’m not sure if Leonard is that guy, but if you keep going down the list far enough, he would certainly be worth talking to.

He took a program that went .500 the last two years and went 9-3 with a team with not much depth.

Time will tell in the future obviously but year one was a major success all things considering.
