I can't imagine Herman wanting to inherit this awful defense. Just more things he'd have to worry about fixing.

They're bad, but very young. Whoever coaches Texas next year has a team that should be very good. That's probably why they want to run Charlie strong out. If not this year they may not get to for a while.

If he goes to ut he would bring his own staff and his current DC is pretty good, ranked 14th nationally I think.

Charlie Strong is a great DC. They just don't have good players, IMO. They might be young.

he's 3 years into the rebuild, they're still a couple years away. He ran off a lot of players that would otherwise be playing this year.
I think texas underestimates how much of a trainwreck they were when he took that job, but then again they never really wanted to hire him in the first place. It's kind of a joke all aroune.

i don't really follow them closely enough to tell you specific numbers but that sounds likely. they're really young because he ended up cutting like 20 guys his first year there

USC is at Arizona but the wildcats have looked bad this year. I predict another quality win for Helton.
