Anyone think LSU/Aranda won't finalize the deal until the OC scenario clears up? I bet LSU wants to ensure the new OC doesn't make more than Aranda. LSU won't know that until the Houston & Oregon jobs fill since Kiffin is their #1.

As is your post. This is a Coaching Changes forum. I haven't seen this brought up yet.

If Kiffin comes here it won't be because of a pay raise. His time at Bama is up and he needs to move on. If he doesn't get a HC job it will be LSU or NFL. Nothing else makes much sense.

Aranda feels like if LSU doesn't have a good OC, he won't get exposure, and then he'll get fired for underexposure of the defensiveness. He could be screwed, but he still hasn't signed. He wore red socks today, so maybe UH is still on the menu.

Aranda has chosen to exercise his right to remain silent.

Yes, and shouldn't be brought up again.
