Isn't this a concession from the O supporters that there is a high chance this ends in disaster?

Apparently the is no contractual protection for O. Part of what sold it. They could fire him tomorrow with no buyout

But then again, what's the point? LSU has plenty of money, if Alleva is balking at 6mil it stands to reason that he isn't going to be springing for any big fish.

He's a yes man and he's cheap.

Coach O isn't running his program. He had to make a ton of concessions to get this job. I'll come cheap, I'll hire this guy or thay guy. Just please let me get the job.
