Meh, all things being equal, I'll take the guy with recruiting ties in Texas. Plus, I'm not sure Nussmeier actually does much.

i think nussmeier is a home run. with his background, i think he's a guy ready to take off once his opportunity is given to him. he's done his time, he's learned and been groomed by some of the best. he's played and coached at all levels. once his break comes, look out.
