I don't think anyone should give a coach a 10 year contract but Fitz is the exception as he is likely the best they can get.

It’s pretty funny when coaches get these long huge extensions that mean absolutely nothing
Fitz is probably the rare coach that will coach under that contract all the way through, but most times it’s shite like Hugh Freeze signing a 7 year extension, while knowing he will jump at the first big job that offers him
