I remember Mazzone from his Auburn days, but don't remember much about him.

He was awful at AU toward the end. Word is he has improved and was actually a pretty hot name with several offers.

He was pretty damn good at ASU last year. Not his fault the defense gave up 450+ yards and 30+ points the last 4 games of the year.

His name was bounced about as a possibility for Sumlins staff, however, I think that the interest was mostly on his in. All indications were he had not been contacted when he took the UCLA job.
