Krag has family baggage and you run the risk of him quitting on you
Leach's offensive philosophy is on the opposite end of the spectrum as miles and would be a terrible hire
And rich rod?
Are you people serious?
If you want him as OC say goodbye to mettenberger, because he would transfer.

what's your choice doc? chryst looks like the homerun at this point. Could we get texas' coordinator they just hired (he wouldn't be co-coordinator here)?
is krag's family baggage going to last forever? at some point he would get over whatever it is i assume.
I'm not totally against a leach hire.
hellz no to rich rod.

Chryst is from Madison and might not move if you pay him what Crowton was making. They've got a good thing going up there.

Is there anyone on the Saints we could possibly look to? A Sean Payton student?

The job was his, but he went to interview for the Pitt HC job and Mack Brown pulled the offer and hired Boise's Harsin

Good to know
Lsu should contact this guy asap
It jives with miles 100%

quote:only negative might be that his stock is so high he might be a one and done OC. A small negative to be sure especially if the one year gives us a championship. Bo was pretty popular when we made him DC and he waited for the right job to open up so Chryst might too. miles might be looking for something more long term though.

Then he is only looking for an average offense then
Any OC who fields a consistent Top 10 offense here will start getting HC offers. It's part of the game

I know he quit at aTm for family issues. Did we ever find out what those were?

seems very vague... "family illness" is all i have read

What is it that you base your opinion on?
Since 1992 he has consistently been heavily pass first.
Shaud Williams transferred from Texas Tech b/c, after an all-bigXII-freshman season, Leach came in and his sophmore carries dropped drastically. SW went to Bama and was a highly productive back.
One thing I do like about ML: his WRs knew how to catch. Plus, I believe Kadron Boone was committed to him and only switched to us after ML was fired.
One glaring problem: the civil suit he filed against ESPN can't possibly be good for PR, won't possibly curry anything positive coverage-wise.
