LOL it's been bizarre since the A&M game.
I'm so PTSD at this point that Kiffin is the only OC that I have any confidence that Alleva and O can land.
Fortunately no one has offered him a HC job.

to me, i am more concerned it's the only one they are focusing on and if it falls through it's gonna be a scramble.

It's only been posted 78 times, but I will say it again. SE doesn not want to be OC and will not be OC. Take your crap somewhere else

Kiffin is all about Kiffen (and vice versa). He wants to win the playoffs. Only becoming a head coach would afford him the avenue to do that. A lateral move would probably kill his desire win it all this year. Either Coach Orgeron is going to wait it out because he knows he has Kiffin or he will be forced by the powers that be to act with a greater sense of urgency to find another offensive coordinator

I find it difficult to get exercised that no one wants to hire our potential OC as a HC when we actually hire someone as our HC that no one else wanted as a HC

This whole thing is getting ridiculous & only adding to the embarrassment that has been the 2016 LSU Coaching search(es). O's BFF is holding LSU hostage while he goes out & makes sure there isn't another job he'd rather have; & O & Alleva are just sitting there letting him & waiting to reward him & make him, probably, the highest paid coordinator in cfb. . Every other school is aggressively going after candidates & LSU is just waiting for ol Lane to "maybe" give us the honor of employing him. And for what? Besides all the ego issues & fails on his resume-including not being able to land a job; O & Alleva know he's gonna start this "throw my hat in the ring for every HC job" next year again. Screw Kiffin & go after someone who's ready to get to work at LSU.

Why? Kirby Smart did it last year after being named HC at Georgia.
