Negotiating a buy out or the AD was trying to give RR time to address the team before announcing to the media. I think the team was on break until Wednesday so that would make sense as to why they moved the team meeting to Wednesday so the entire team would be there.

I think the real thing that is going on is that they had a handshake deal with Harbaugh since the end of the season but Harbaugh wanted to play things out with Stanford. Harbuagh's stock has gone through the roof and consequently, since the handshake agreement, so has his asking price (reportedly $5m per).
I think the UM AD met with RR yesterday and asked him if he wanted to stay in the event Harbaugh did not agree to coach UM. I think RR said he would like to stay. Finally, I think the UM AD and Harbaugh's people probably met one more time last night to decide on what the course of action will be and if demands can be met.

things are almost a little too quiet on the miles to michigan stuff for my taste I would rather it be all over the place to the point he comes out like last time and says it is not happening until then one wonders...

The fact that Miles' name is not being mentioned makes me wonder if a handshake deal has not already been done there. Things are indeed way to quiet on this situation concerning Les and UM. Really going to be interesting to see how this plays out the rest of the week. If they do offer, I really don't see him turning it down a second time.
