Didnt he fall off his boat and almost drown a few years ago? What is he accident prone, or cant hold his liquor?

If he is a lightweight coach Bryant would be completely ashamed of him.

An honest man is BamaScoop !

Maybe the tree had cat-like quickness and jumped in front of the car ?

In a call to a cousin of mind in Alabama to wish happy holidays to. He told me that he's hearing more about that minor accident that he can stand but the best story he told me was that Bama campus police were actually escorting him hmome from a party. He then added that people in the know are theones saying it the most.

I think the most likely scenario is drinking and driving. How drunk he might have been if he was drinking, who knows, but if you are alert and sober, it is hard not to see a tree laying in the middle of the road. Also the timing can't be a coincident. Late at night on a Saturday night during a dead period of recruiting near Christmas when Saban has no obligations or practice the next day. In all liklihood it is a DUI and the Tuscaloosa police cut him a break.

May not be, but that seems to be the common sense conclusion.

The real question should be....

How long till Miles runs over a tree and claims it was a damn good tree and LSU fans claim he was more drunk than Saban ever was.

Jolly old St. NIck.

Does he really drive a Bentley? That just seems kind of obnoxious, especially around college kids.

Are you kidding?

A Cadillac, Lexus, Mercedes would ALL be more practical options.

A Bentley? Jesus he might as well drive a Ferrari.

It's the same rule that the VP's of a Fortune 500 corporation follow - you can have a nice car but it can't be OBNOXIOUS. You aren't going to see the VP of Marketing for Microsoft pull up in a Bentley or a Lamborghini. He'll have a Lexus or a Hybrid or something.

I actually think it's a Mercedes S Class.

Anybody have that picture from the guy that stuck the LSU sticker on his car last year.

Just wondering when Saban hit the tree did he blame the lack of senior leadership and Major Applewhite as reasons for hitting the tree?
