The Bills situation is this...

They approach Shanahan first because basically, it's his if he wants it...I doubt they think he'll actually take it. But, they just want to contact him first IMO

Raheem Morris shouldn't be in Tampa next year either
After one year? Nah...

I didn't like the hire to begin with, but the owners in Tampa are in the red and will stick with him and not spend the money for now.

Wade Phillps - Cowboys

I think he will retire to a front office token position.

BTW, that would be a nice position.

How do you leave Jeff Fisher off of your list? It was his stupid, stubborn garbage that led to an 0-6 start his team may not recover from.

Del Rio would be an excellent fit for some college team. I wanted him back before and after Saban.

Add Norv Turner to that list

At first I thought no way with the Chargers doing as well as they are this year then I remeber they fired schottenheiner after a 14-2 season. Go figure.

FYI....

As Coach Jim Zorn prepares for the final game of the regular season, the Washington Redskins have already cleared a major hurdle that would enable them to hire a new head coach. The team has complied with the NFL's Rooney Rule, which requires teams to interview minority candidates for head coaching and senior front-office positions, according to John Wooten, president of the group charged with monitoring diversity hiring in the league.

Buffalo Bills have named Buddy Nix (Director of College Scouting) as their next G.M. Russ Brandon will be promoted from General Manager to Team President and CEO. Bills are moving fast. Getting things ready.

Looks like Redskins and Mike Shanahan (Former Denver Broncos Head Coach) are negotiating a deal that will pay more than $50 million.
