If I recall it was strictly monetary. He basically doubled his salary. And probably hoped that SEC on the resumé would help for future hc job.

Call me crazy... but I think Canada stays another year.
If he doesn't, however, I hope O does the smart thing and allows whatever OC they hire to bring at least 1-2 assistants with them, to facilitate the adjustments.
For the record, I do not want LSU having to change their offensive scheme every year. That's a terrible way to get young QB's prepared.

Sounds like Canada is a bad fit. Id rather move on early than let it drag through signing day. We all know other teams will be negative recruiting with those rumors

So I know how this goes on this board. Many will blame O and he probably deserves some blame. But Canada’s track record has always been a concern. Never can seem to stick in one place.

Not sure if serious - Freeze is going to be radioactive for some time. Of course, O was considering bringing in Kiffin who is just as radioactive in my mind.

We are talking about the same program that let O be their HC. Shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone that he would want Ensminger
