Looks like former Indiana HC, Tom Allen, will be new Penn State DC. Good pick up

All these DC jobs getting filled makes you wonder why Jim Leonard is getting passed over. What did he do? Is he truly happy as an analyst?

Is it possible he already has a deal in place with LSU on the understanding it isn't official until after the LSU bowl game?
That doesn't have to be LSU specifically, it could be any school in need of a new DC.

Supposedly he doesn't want to move.
Frankly, I think he's overrated.
And he certainly can't, and doesn't like to, recruit.
Fick has had to hit the portal to basically remake the entire defense.

I only watched every game he coached at UW and saw his defense get lit up by not only OSU but also Illinois and Minnesota.
I'm sure you have better insight.

I don't get the Jim Leonhard elite DC talk either.

I think LSU already has decided on a DC. I don't know who it is, but I think it's agreed upon.
