New coach as I see it...jimbo then herman

If u can't get either then Alleva should be fired. He has made one good hire in the softball coach. All three men's/women's b ball coaches were/are not good. He should be gone if he cannot hire either one.
In saying that, unless we hire someone that we all don't think is available, then keep coach o and tell him he must clean house on offense except Craig and juluke and must fire peveto. Hire a proven OC and special team coach and give aranda whatever he wants.
O can recruit and if he can hire a proven oc let him coach and don't meddle like miles. Let O focus on getting at least 5 o and d lineman each year and find some linebackers.
I would rather that then fedora, gundy, fleck, etc.
Fire away.

What's so funny? That is his job to hire a coach and he has sucked at it. If u can't then u should be fired.

I mean, if herman decides hed rather go to texas and jimbo wants to stay in tally regardless of joe efforts, its out of his control.

So how did bama get Saban? U have to find what they want and make it happen. Everyone has a price. Otherwise why did u fire miles if u are going to hire gundy, fedora, etc.

Everyone does not have a price, SABAN had a price.
Id love to see the statistics on how many coaching searches actually landed one of their top 2 targets. Would be interesting to see.

Not sure you know what the word "if" means.
We are all just throwing out hypotheticals, im just saying, that not landing jimbo shouldnt cost alleva his job, if jimbo chooses to stay in tally.
Now if negotiations break down because alleva, then we have a different story.

I agree with that but everyone has said jimbo loves lsu and we have an opening. I think if he honestly said no from the beginning then jimbo wouldn't be questioned about the rumors. So that tells me there is interest and we need to seal the deal.

I realize you're very emotional about the head coaching search, however if you believe Joe Alleva will be fired based on this criteria then you don't have a clue how the real world works. While hiring coaches is one of the functions of the AD, he wears a lot more hats than that and his job performance is graded differently than you may wish it to be. When you have an AD increase revenue from $133 MILLION to $138 MILLION while decreasing expenses by $1 million (2015 numbers) there aren't many institutions that will fire that AD....especially at a school where the athletic department gives back to the academic side.
I believe Joe will make a good hire and I also believe Joe does a good job at running the athletic department. We don't have to like everything he does as AD or like him as a person, but his overall on the job performance would be looked at as above average by any institution. He won't be fired for not getting your guy.

U are answering a question with a question. Ali am saying is there is interest in both sides, so if Alleva can't make it happen then I think he should go. Take f King with him as well
