Pelini is a defensive coach and their defenses have stunk most years he has been there.

That's who I think they will end up with. They should at least take a swing at some big names before getting him though

Let's say the same thing about Lesticles in reverse

That's who I think they'll hire in the end.

Yeah, I remember when WISC run all over them for 70 in the B10 Title game. Certainly a valid point too.

BTW IDK if you knew or not on Twitter, but I didn't mean UF looks to hire Spurrier, I meant can't count him and USCe out.

I'm sure you knew what I meant, but for some reason I felt you didn't.

Agreed, but I don't think Kiffin wants to put himself in another dumpster fire. Raiders, UTe, then USCw on damn near the death penalty? I think he'll wait for a job where he at least has a punches chance at being successful.

I think Nebraska fans have unrealistic expectations. I guarantee you whomever they get will not be better than Bo Pelini.

He was never going to win them a national title, but neither will anyone else. Honestly, 9 wins a year for 7 straight years is Nebraska's ceiling in the modern era of CFB. Things could get much much worse than they are. Nebraska is a recruiting wasteland.

Good fire IMO. He's not a top 20 coach in the country. They deserve to be a top 20 program.

If I were Pelini I would retire today.
