Please go back and look at Dantonios record at Cincy. Also you proved my point. None of this guys were first time head coaches they coached somewhere before (as a HC)
D Antonio - 7-5, 4-7,8-5 at cincy
Malzahn - Arkansa St to Auburn ( didn't cut it 66% win record)
Harbbaugh - Stanford to NFl to Michigan
FreeZe - good example but he cheated and fricked up pretty bad.

3 of those 4 were offensive innovators, Dantoni a nice track record as a DC. Napier…not so much
D Antonio sucked as HC at Cincy compared to Kelly and butch.

This happened the last time you made this stupid G5 comment.
People prove you wrong, and then you redefine “success” and change the parameters.
Also, you apparently aren’t aware that Harbaugh coached at the University of San Diego before Stanford.
Most coaches aren’t successful , no matter where they come from.
And when they are successful, few can maintain.

Napier is going to be really great at TCU

How is this relevant to your argument?

Napier's the baw man. He's got 3 best recruiting classes in sunblet. Napier losing. Baw that's because he doesn't have the talent like he will at lsu baw.
How are the Louisiana Bengals doing for the last two years genius? With top 5 recruiting classes no less.

Napier isn’t even top 5 to get the job.
True, but neither is Kiffin, Meyer, Freeze or any other of the many clowns, retreads and "has beens" that are posted on this board daily.

we are 0-3 this year on ranked teams....He has done the best he can do with what he has....been to the conference championship
yet he won...face it he is a winner and knows how to win...ULL isn't expected to win every ranked team opponent

Do you realize how dumb this statement makes you look??? ITS ULL NOT A SEC SCHOOL. ITS ULL for fricks sake. What talent does ULL have to consistently beat top 25 teams please do tell

You shoot off prematurely like that every time ?

I'm with you man. LSU should never ever hire a coach like that.
Imagine if LSU hired a coach with a 34–24 record at his last stop. Completely unforgivable... wait, 34–24 was Saban's record at Michigan State before LSU hired him.

Barney that's a terrible point and you know it.
-Nick had an NFL pedigree and was highly regarded in NFL circles as a defensive mind.
-Nick won at Toledo
-Nick then built Mich St up from the ground up. This is not the same MSU it is now.
The resumes of he and Napier are not remotely comparable.

Chadwell has a much better offensive record than Napier statistically speaking

We name them in every thread you make this dumb argument, but you change your criteria where that coach somehow doesn’t count.
The truth is, there are very few successful coaches, regardless where they came from.
And the ones that have success: Miles, Orgeron, Mack Brown, Harbaugh, have trouble maintaining.
You could make your argument for any trajectory.
