Can the people seated in the corners at Kinnick Stadium see the whole field? Here is another pic:

I don't think so, but this gives me hope that there is another LSU fan in Des Moines

when did he graduate?

my wife is from Ames, IA. We go up there every summer for a week or two. Well, she goes for a week or two. I fly up to meet her for the last couple of days. :-)

May 2011. He moved there this past summer. I know another LSU fan around that age in the area as well.

How'd you end up there from LSU?

Ames seems like a cool, small place. I want to go explore it more one weekend (I went to one football game this year against Tulsa and it was a fun time)

I still hold ill will against them for upsetting OK State last year, but they don't understand my hate. I just get a little pissed every time I see the logo

If I'm not mistaken, Kinnick actually seats 70k+, which is bigger than many SEC stadiums.

Not sure, when I went I was in the middle.

One cool thing is those gaps in the corners of the endzone on the scoreboard side, people put their pop up chairs there and watch the game on the scoreboard because you can see it from the outside and even at certain angles in the parking spots. Makes a unique experience for fans who can't get tickets

"mytigerdroppingsemail@gmail.com" is the email. I just graduated in Dec 11 so I think we may know each other anyway...unless there are really that many LSU grads in Des Moines...

to get this thread back on track, I really think Ferentz is overrated as a whole and should have jumped ship back in 2004 when his stock was high.

he leveraged Iowa's loyalty into a cushy contract so now he can just coast

recruiting at Iowa in the B1G is no different than another other school except the huge schools with lots of tradition like Penn State, Ohio State and Michigan.

Really, people from fricking Louisiana claiming it sucks in Iowa? The gulf coast region is one of the WORST places in the country to live and you people constantly shite on other places.

Yea I mean living down here on the gulf coast is comperable to freaking Viatnam, I mean we're only a couple of hours from places like Destin and the panhandle in general. Ever been to Buffalo, New York? Try going anywhere in the northeast (Rust Belt) in say Januray and get back to me on what's worse.

No shite. There's a reason the population demographics in this country are shifting to the south. And that's it.
