Rhule or Aranda.
Seeing Aranda's D give OU fits was fun to watch.

Never cared for Jimbo but I'm getting nervous about it now with his Woodward connection.

Plus I don't like his crooked cap and old man readers look.

I have not been much on Jimbo at all. I think he is ok at QB development but if we hired an offens guy I would rather Riley.
If LSU hire defense guy I would rather Rhule or Aranda.

Rhule is not an option.

I don’t like Jimbo’s record and resumé as a head coach outside of the one year Jameis was at FSU

Aranda is the home run especially if he can get Joe Brady to tap the brakes on coaching in the NFL and to come back here where he knows he’s successful running an offense with five star QB’s like Walker Howard

Aranda will give us great defenses yearly but we have no idea what kind of offense or QB development we will get under his watch or staff. So far the results aren’t great.

Finding a QB whisperer is harder than finding a good DC.

That’s what I keep coming back to re Aranda. If he can’t do it, we are Les Miles LSU for better or worse.

But, literally any coach is an upgrade over the last two potatoes we’ve had with headsets on.

Good points Oscar. If we have a defense HC he will need to have a steady flow of OC's rolling thru here like Saban does. You have to be able to evaluate those guys well and how they developed their qbs.
I agree the challenge to keep top OC coming thru a staff is harder than top DCs.

I feel this way as well. I am so sick of bad QB play at LSU. How often do we say we are always a QB away?

I believe LSU can always attract elite overall defensive players.

I would love to see LSU be more consistent like an Ohio St.

Saban recruits at an insane level though. On both sides of the ball.

Of today. His record as a head coach is 10-9,,,

I still say Riley, Dabo, or Jimbo...

I watched the game and for most of it he was awful.
