My Thoughs On Coaching Situation

I have a feeling Jimbo is leveraging us along with Sexton for everything and more and will end up staying at FSU with a hefty bonus and incentives and everything he wants. Maybe a year too late.
That will leave us Herman and we will need Texas to kick arse Friday for Texas to stay out the picture. However I fear they fire strong no matter what and hire Herman.
That will leaves us with Gundy or Fedora , not saying I want it , but we hire one of them. I think they lean to Fedora and we are left with a pretty solid B hire but will be very underwhelming for most fans.

The question is whether or not we believe that negotiations with Fisher / Sexton are still ongoing. I have a hard time believing that after eight weeks this hasn't been put to bed.

I fear this will be the result also. I hope there is a better back up plan than those two. I do think Gundy is a pretty good coach, but anyone from the big 12 scares the shite out of me. Fedora I don't think can recruit with the big boys in the SEC, and I'm not sure Gundy can.

Jimbo has legitimate interest in LSU. Maybe he stays at FSU, maybe he goes, I don't know.
But I believe there is sincere interest and he isn't just using LSU as leverage on FSU...

Well, we wasted many weeks under the bold premise a couple of wins against weak opponents by CEO meant that he needed to be our coach for the next decade.

I believe that to be pure PR 101, you don't undermine the sitting coach even if he is interim.

I checked out a few message boards to see how our candidates' fan bases are reacting.
Houston and FSU are freaking the frick out. UNC seems anxious. The OSU crowd isn't even talking about it.
I'm pretty sure that it won't be Gundy.
The complete lack of defense wouldn't work out in the SEC.
