Dave Aranda is the better head coach with more upside and potential, but hiring Lincoln Riley would make an enormous statement to the college football world about where LSU’s program is at these days. Back in the 2000’s people were still calling LSU a “stepping stone job”. Nowadays, LSU is on the cusp of being a perennial blue blood. If we hire away a good head coach from a blue blood like Oklahoma, I think that would seal LSU’s status as a blue blood.

In other words, we have arrived and we’re not going anywhere, fellas.

I’m happy with either of these two coaches.

I think most LSU fans would agree.

Disagree. It has to happen on the field. Over and over again.

I like aranda but there is zero evidence or experience to make this declaration.

Dave is in the MIDDLE of his 1 good season.
