We want to keep him(Jones) because BK/Woodward don't seem to have the stroke to hire a better one. I bet they don't land a better DB coach than Raymond.

Even if that ends up being true, it’s not the appropriate comparison to make. The question is how all the new pieces fit together and does it produce a better staff than what was previously in place. It’s unlikely they could have made it fit to keep Raymond and bring in Frank Wilson. Overall having Wilson Is likely more valuable even if the trade off is a slight downgrade at CB coach, which we don’t know will be true anyway.
