Frank Cignetti - Pittsburgh
Pitt Offensive Rankings:
Total Yards: #45
Scoring: #16
Time of Possession: #28
3rd down conversions: #32
Has experience as a QB coach in the NFL with the Saints in 2001 (Aaron Brooks made Pro Bowl alternate that year) and 49ers in 2007. Great #s as Offensive Coordinator/QB coach at Fresno State and then Cal. Runs a pro-style, ball control offense at Pittsburgh focused on power running and play action pass.
I don't think anyone expected Bill Stull to be the QB he made him this year at Pitt. And Pitt's whole offense is much improved. Only issue is that he is a Pitt guy. From the area, and loves being home. Could be impossible to get him or take a lot of money.

I believe he's from Pitt and a Pitt grad. No chance.

Rich Rod to Michigan?
You never know what's going to happen when money and prestige come into play. I just like the guy. Think we should take a look at him.

The administration at WVU completely turned on him. That situation was a train wreck. RR going to Michigan had more to do with that than money or prestige.

Pitt's offense is inconsistant. Don't want him.

and the 2003 LSU Tigers.
I really think that if we had a dominate running game, our defense this year would've easily been top 10, maybe better. The spread is great and fun to watch. And, it can put points on the board. But, in most cases, it can't control the clock. And, that's what you need to win championships.
