This is getting alot of play on our boards. The rumor has been that Petrino might take it, but FWIW Muschamp seems to have taken the lead. Supposedly he has presented his staff for review, and this list includes Derek Dooley as the OC.
Who knows?

I think Dooley should be the HC hire, and he isn't going from a D-1 HC back to OC for anyone. He will get his shot within 2-3 years.

Muschamp would be a great hire IMO. He is young, energetic, and knows the league. He would most definately recruit better than Nutt as well. Petrino seems like a pipe dream to me...If I were Arkansas I'd get Muschamp while he was still available.

Muschamp would be a good choice considering you need a guy who isn't just using you for a raise.
Dooley isn't leaving Tech for an OC job(except maybe in the NFL, which will not happen).
