One good year against a terribly weak schedule doesn't mean shite. KU is a bottom tier BCS school.

It's hard to laugh since Nutt always seems to have LSU's number, but Mullen is a far superior coach to either Nutt or Miles, and it was vastly evident this year.

I agree, but I watched that LSU/OM game thinking 'Geez there is some terrible coaching in this game.' Nutt wasn't any better than Miles and that's saying something.

Actually Lawrence, KS is a great town. But no head football coach in his right mind would leave another BCS gig to coach at KU, unless KU offers 5 Million a year. Their program is shite. 6 bowl games ever.

You get a lot more run from about the same results a....regardless of the reputation of the football team being associated with an entity that is seen as representing excellence and prestige rubs off on peoples opinion of you. This of course is insignificant if you’re talking about leaving Standford for Oklahoma, Nebraska, LSU, Auburn, Alabama, Ohio State ect. Because these schools have football prestige, but when you are talking about two universities neither of which have football prestige then general prestige matters esp. if (and this is just speculation) he has aspirations of an NFL job.

I didn't mean to disrespect Lawrence i'm sure its a fine place to live and a great place to raise a family, but it's not the type of place ppl with no connection to there aspire to live.

He does seem to have our number, but still he just went 8-4 with a preseason top 5 team, and to make matters worse this was something everyone familiar with his coaching record predicted b/c it's what he always does with a talented team. Nut’s a great "giant slayer" but that’s about it he'll never be a top tier coach.
