Have you been to the campus? They will never, ever be a good football program.

Really? That program has killed more than one career. It isn’t a top G5 job.

It’s a shite job. Getting to bootstrap into a new stadium with no people there to watch them doesn’t change that.

My guess is he's been ready to move on and be a HC.

After Ed O's first year and losing to Troy and it being deemed a "failure" he almost left until we gave him 2.5mill and ,what I believe, to be a "coach in waiting" title secretly if Ed O continued to be mediocre.

Low and behold Ed O turned out to be pretty good and we are no longer thinking about moving off of him so Dave is ready to money on and become a HC.

Meh. I’m not angry. Just surprised he’s settling for a shitty job that’s never been a good launching pad.

Dave is a grown man and can figure out what's shitty or not. If he decides to take the job, he'll have his reasons that are good for him, his family, and his career.

Youre missing the point.

Lsu has been extremely good to him and one would think he would have the courtesy to at least wait till after the season .

Hopefully this is truly squashed and he’s here for at least another year

Appears UNLV could be a good place to be the next few years. Dope home stadium, new football facilities, etc.

Might be a lot easier to recruit there in the next couple of years.
