He was previously at Penn State in the same capacity. Recruiting ties in the DMV.
According to BOL, he has interviewed and expected to take the position.

Why is Saban hiring all these guys so fast? Does he not know to drag this out so he can get extra visits with recruits like Eaux is doing? Eaux is taking his time hiring the passing game coordinator to use the extra visits with recruits from what the inside sources are saying

No mention of specifics. Some reassignment of positions will happen on offense. Panunzzio is currently the RBs coach.

I have none except experience.
And perhaps “hired” is not the correct word, but “identified” is more accurate. I’m sure he knows who he plans to hire.
Likely waiting on signing day and perhaps another assistant or two to leave.
