Minority hire

When the CEO news first came out the reports were that the administration (above Woody) wanted a minority hire.
Now I think you should never be considered or not be considered for a job because of the color of your skin or background. hires should always be made on talent or potential talent alone.
However, this was reported by I believe Moscona, and I want to say Hester mentioned it as well but I have slept since then.
This has stuck with me in a way, as candidates are listed and if there is any stock in that report it would preclude Jimbo and Riley from the search and put the crosshairs directly on Aranda and Matt Campbell among others.
That report has died off and there haven't been many mentions since of a minority hire but something that was reported as being a directive from the LSU admins once CEO was fired.

Scott Woowdard is not going to choose a candidate over another candidate simply because of race. He's going to hire the best coach he can, whether they're white black blue green or purple.

The only minority hires that you would realistically hire right now anyways are Mel Tucker and Deion Sanders. Mel Tucker not enough experience, or good enough to get the job. Deion Sanders too many questions about X’s and O’s, and too many questions about his true coaching passion. Throw Eric Bienimy in there, but he has past issues of hitting women etc. Just doesn’t seem like a realistic enough minority hire that could get the job right now.

1. Lincoln
2. Dave
3. Campbell
4. Fisher
5. Rhule
6. Napier
Nobody else should get the job as far as I’m concerned.

that is my hope as well but why release that report publicly if you are the LSU admins. seems like they are posturing for public opinion in my opinion.

The hire will be based on who is the most qualified, not on race. Tate does not need to get involved with this in any capacity. Let the Pros, in Woody handle business with the keys to the Ferrari of a CFB program in LSU.

Riley is a derivative of O'Reilly, which is Irish, so that should suffice as a minority hire for our purposes.
