Minnesota's offense is ranked 113th in NCAA

According to Dandy:

quote:

I have heard a few names as possible replacements for Gary Crowton, including Jedd Fisch, the offensive coordinator at Minnesota. Fisch is 44 years old with eight years coaching experience in the NFL with the Houston Texans from 2001-03, the Baltimore Ravens from 2004-06 and and the Denver Broncos in 2008. Fisch was also a graduate assistant at Florida from 1999-2000. I really like Jedd Fisch and he would be my first choice if Gary Crowton is replaced. I have also received several emails since LSU played La Tech from readers who would like to see Derek Dooley return to LSU as a associate head coach and offensive coordinator. I like Dooley who is head coach and athletic director at La Tech. I have also received several emails from readers who would like to see former Notre Dame head coach Charlie Weis considered as a replacement for Crowton if he is replaced. Crowton's name is being mentioned for the vacant UL-M job.

You underestimate DD. He has some good contacts and Fisch is a possibility. Les will clean out the offensive staff.

And you are giving Don too much credit. Fisch turns 44 in 2020

you are right speedy, he is only 34. We dont need a big 10 coach. WE already have that for a head coach, and besides go look at fisch's numbers against ranked opponents. Big fat goose eggs for points and thats against big ten teams. They dont have sec style defenses, so I'm not very impressed with the mention of this guy.

well imo it's better to hire a guy like this than to have someone like Jimbo or Crowton. this will eliminate any "clash in styles" on offense.
