One reason LSU will NOT get Tomlin is they need a coach in place no later than December for recruiting, the earliest Tomlin could be available is in January.

1. Pittsburgh has a pretty storied tradition of not cycling through coaches. Plus their perceived problem isn’t Tomlin (it’s how old Ben is)

I liked him with Pittsburgh but the fact Ryan Clark acts this way makes me hope he doesn’t get the job.

Clark explicitly stated on AFR yesterday that, if you have a problem with Tomlin being the head coach of LSU , then you are racist. The comment was interesting given the fact that he had just pointed out that how Tomlin has never had to recruit or sit down with a player’s mom about playing time.
