Standards have historically been higher for football than men’s basketball. And there hasn’t been a noticeable uptick in recruiting blue chip players.

But from what I’ve heard from people who have some good insight, the team culture has been consistently really strong since the Cutcliffe era began.

Cutcliffe also had a good strategy of going after players from Atlanta and Charlotte private schools and the top NC public schools (obviously the ones who wouldn’t get a look at schools like UGA).
