There are a fair amount of assistant level LSU guys right now, but no head coaching candidates. That could change in the next 10 years.
I think it takes a head coach to take a player under his wing and groom them to be a coach that makes a program produce a lot of future coaches. With the lack on continuity and long term head coaches at LSU over the last 30 years, that never developed.

wasn't rob sale getting into coaching too? oh and sorry about dana, man. we were this close but i think the mindfrick of working for either miles or stew sent him spiraling towards morgantown due to a quicker head coaching route.

you have to be smart to be a coach you know..and going by LSU's athletic standards is not stellar by any means
