Michigan Buyout of RR?

It just seems to me that Michigan can not afford Miles at this time. First they would have to cover the $2M they owe RR and then at least match Miles salary here.
You can say all you want about Mich having deep pockets, but their State has taken a big hit during the recession. Just my thought.

But they would basically be paying almost double. I would make more sense for them to hire an up and comer who fits the type of game they want to get back to.

They don't have to match his yearly salary. Why can't people understand RichRod's 6 year deal paid the same as Les' 4 years here.
Further more, they paid $2.5 Million to buyout RR from WVU, so it's actually $17.5 Million there.
Les would gladly take a small annual paycut to go home based on how he talks about UM.

You realize that if they raise ticket prices $10 a game they all but cover the buyout. Money is not an issue. The economy may be down, the economy of athletic depts is not. Moreover, hiring the right coach makes money. Hiring the wrong one loses it.
