actually i have no problem with him leaving. if he does i will understand. just saying the media will turn him apart for his "angry man" press conference at the SECCG.

i would hope that LSU administration will not get caught by surprise and have something read immediately if the hat does leave.

talk of something being ready was apparent pre seccg...

but we'll see how swiftly we act.

I doubt Miles will be doing any talking with a NC on the line. This is a possible once in a life time thing.

Don't think Miles will leave given that LSU has shown that we want him. Les looks at UM and sees nothing but different groups that he would either have to fight all the time or find some way to win over.

looking at how badly UM and Arky have handled their coaching searches I'm not really sure I want to be in the market for a coach unless we have a homerun in our abck pocket

i don't think miles will head to michigan for the fact that if he was leaving they wouldn't have let bo leave...would they?....or would they not hire bo as the hc?

When did Miles call a press conference and announce he was staying at OKL State? I never heard about this. Did he sign a contract extension? I never heard him address the media and say he wasn't going to LSU.

This is the difference. How is that hypocritical? If Miles left after this whole "AS the world turns" moment, yeah, i'm going to hate his fricking guts.

Bo would not have been the head coach at LSU had Miles left.

That doesn't mean his agent won't do the talking for him.

There still seem to be some problems..

1. Apparently there are still folks against him coming that's why there is talk of an agreement on a coach such as Hoke

2. Seems ,according to some things I've read, that Les doesn't want to come as long as Carr is working in the athletic department

3. Pay for assistant coaches

We'll see.

I agree. If he wants to go to Michigan, that's fine. It's really not the media's business if he wants to stay or leave. I'll be cool as long as he stays honest with Skip and the boys so they can get a head start on finding a replacement if he's going.

Maybe I'm a little dense here but I saw nowhere in the MGoBlog that Miles has been offered, in fact I haven't seen anyone with any credibility at all suggest that Miles is even interested. I guess my question is what has everyone's collective panties in a bunch? Boredom?

bigtime key bc miles usually makes outstanding hires, and can't compete w/the piss poor amount that he'd be allowed to pay his assistants.

they need to pony up the cash across the board for the entire staff, or else they'll be left with signing someone like Hoke, or even English/DeBord.

They'd probably let him leave.

I doubt it.
