Exactly. He hasnt accomplished anything that would warrant/qualify him to be the head coach at LSU. Like i said above, their toughest opponent thus far was indiana. You cant accurately guage how good a team is by them beating northwestern, youngstown st, rutgers, western ky, nebraska, miami, and indiana. Thats a joke. All that tells you is that theyre better than the teams theyve played to this point; which is why msu is only ranked #7 behind 2 teams that have a loss, despite being undefeated themselves. Why not give mike gundy a hard look then, bc okie lite is undefeated as well this season and he has sustained above average success there with some good pretty good seasons mixed in? At least you know for sure what you get in gundy. He has been consistent there for a long time; something we cant say about tucker at this point...and hell fricking no i dont want gundy; i was just using him to make a point. Lol.

Right now he is 7-0 and ranked in the top 10.

Dave Aranda inherited an 11-3 Baylor team in the very weak Big 12. 2-7, 6-1, 8-8 as a head coach. He has no previous head coaching experience yet some would like him to be the next head coach here. Hell, the fans wanted him replaced multiple times throughout his tenure here. Remember the Ole Miss game where Pumlee gashed the defense? Does Dave like to recruit now?
If Tucker can finish this season with 1 or 2 Ls, he deserves an interview.
Franklin hasn't done anything but show he's an average coach who loses the big game at Penn State.
It's Fickell or an NFL coach.

I would rather keep Coach O than have Mel Tucker.
Tucker is terrible and has done nothing.
When he has three seasons in a row finishing in the top 15 rankings then I will notice. But I am not going to get excited about him playing 7 teams this season with a losing record and beating crappy teams as an accomplishment.

No one is outraged over considering a candidate that happens to be minority. These are the same people love their tigers regardless of skin tone. They’re outraged over the possibility that a candidate would be chosen based on his minority status over qualifications.
