Say what you want about Tucker, but he’s not = Coach O. Tucker is significantly more accomplished and qualified as a defensive guy.

the idea of mel tucker has been poisoned on this board because people are worried about tate.
he isn't in my top 5 at the moment.
if he finishes 10-2 by upsetting a better team or 9-3 with good games against mich, pennst and ohiost i would be okay with him as hfc.
his only two stops as hfc he's taken over bad situations. michst felt strongly enough to hire him after his first year in boulder. his first year at michst was after signing day and was told at one point they weren't even gonna have a season.
mel tucker should not be one of the top choices right now, but he could end up being a quality hire at the end of the season. we'll see.
