Oregon has 3 offensive recruits from the Southeast and 1 from the Midwest, so 4/9 are from his former recruiting footprint.

I actually like that he can recruit those areas.

He damn sure is. He's an elite recruiter that can capitalize on the incompetence going on at Southern Cal. Nick Saban and several guys in the Alabama admin also hold Cristobal in some high regard. Joe Moorehead is a game changing hire for him at Oregon.

Talk about a leap going from punting to calling plays.

Hard to tell how much his problems at State were due to poor scheming or off field discipline issues. Probably both. I think he was too stubborn to adjust his offense to our personnel.

Mississippi State sucks obviously, and his downfall was not scheme... it was being unable to run a program. Moorhead is better suited to be a coordinator

This, some people belong in support roles and few are CEO types to run things.

Also, advanced states show his offenses were not bad. For instance, S&P had him at 32 in 2018 and Mullen was 40 in 2017.

He’s got a two deep next year that is over .90 on the composite and over 50% on the blue chip ratio. Dude needs to produce.

Big step up from Fordham to an SEC school. He needed a HC job in between.
